Introduction

I have run into a problem when booting the client from PXE.

The clients were receiving IP from DHCP but did not receive the boot image from the PXE Service Point.

Looking into smspxe.log in C:\Program Files\SMS_CCM\Logs\ I found this error:
Warning: Matching Processor Architecture Boot image not found

Configuration Manager is looking for policy error in SCCM sccm pxe boot not working

How to fix the error

The reason for this error was that I had only enabled this setting for my x86 boot image and not my x64 boot image.

Once this was activated, the client received the boot image without any problem.

For you that don’t know where this option is, it’s located at Software Library -> Boot images -> Right-click the boot image -> Data source

    • Hej Achilles,

      Mvh Daniel
